Coming soon!
The eventual
stadium complex for the Dakota Lawdawgs will have a grandstand hosting
3,200 fans (8 sections
sections of seating
for 400 fans). The grandstand will sit in front of a building
that will host 6 press and coaching style boxes as well as 10 luxury
boxes for sponsors. Each seating section of the grandstand will
be named for sponsor support as will each luxury box.
The entire complex
will eventually have a practice field and Office/ Locker room facility
next to the game field. The Complex will also be used for "big
time" concerts brought into the fairgrounds as well as other sporting
events as well. The first year of playing will be in the 2008
season which will see the laying of sod turf down and temporary
bleachers and scoreboards while funding is secured and finished for
the remaining sections. The team plans to begin scoreboard and
side line upgrades in year two, permanent bleacher seating in year
three and the final project will be the press box and luxury box
section year four.
The team does have
concrete sponsorship arrangements in place for future building plans,
however the team will not begin building on the actual non-field
structure until each separate project funds are secured. The
team will be able to sell both beer and hard alcohol during games due
to the licenses held by the Sioux Empire Fair Association and the
stadium will be the only outdoor football field in the state that
allows for the sale of alcohol.
